The eye lands on the letter before anything else. A broad maize block M sits across the outer side panel, outlined in navy, large enough to read from across a room. Everything else in the design is built to serve it.

Design Story
The palette is strict: deep navy, bright maize, a clean off-white edge. Angled bands sweep from the heel toward the toe cap, their slightly distressed brush edges giving the surface a worn-in, stadium-banner look rather than a flat print. White pinstripes separate the two main colours and keep the contrast sharp. Across the heel strap, MICHIGAN is set in collegiate block lettering, with a small circular M badge anchoring the side rivet. The left and right clogs mirror each other, so the pair reads as one composition when placed side by side.
Wear & Styling
On a clog silhouette, the curve works in the design's favour. The large M wraps the widest part of the side panel, the diagonal bands follow the slope of the toe cap, and the perforations fall into the darker navy field instead of cutting through the lettering. The off-white midsole band gives the printed upper a clean horizon line, and the strap carries the wordmark at eye level. It is statement footwear with an easy slip-on look — porch, tailgate, hallway, game day.
