Design Story
The palette does most of the talking. Maize covers the toe cap and side panels, navy anchors the letterform, and a thin stripe runs along the lower edge like a stadium banner. The heel strap carries MICHIGAN in gold on navy, with a small circular M badge at the pivot point. Secondary marks, a tiny M and a stylised wing motif, keep the composition from feeling empty without competing with the main emblem. Nothing shouts; everything is placed.
Wear & Styling
On a clog silhouette, that scale makes sense. The curved upper gives the block letter room to read from across a room, while the perforations break the maize field into rhythm rather than flatness.
