Design Story
Around that anchor, the design works in layers: a cracked charcoal base, scarlet splatter thrown across the upper, and white diagonal streaks cutting toward the toe cap like motion drawn in paint. Small buckeye blossoms break the noise with a quiet botanical detail. Across the instep strap, OHIO STATE is set in blocky athletic lettering with a thin red outline, and a circular emblem button sits at the pivot of the red heel strap. The palette stays disciplined — scarlet, gray, black, white — so the chaos reads as composition rather than clutter.
Wear & Styling
On the clog silhouette the hierarchy holds up well. The Block O claims the widest curve of the side panel, the strap typography runs along the natural sightline, and the splatter wraps toward the heel so neither clog looks cropped. Left and right mirror each other, and the plain dark sole gives the printed upper a clean edge to push against. An easy slip-on look with a loud graphic voice.
