Some designs announce themselves quietly. This one leans on two colours and lets the badges do the talking: deep navy against soft cream, cut clean down the shoulder line.

Design Story

The eye lands first on the ball-in-glove emblem sitting high on the right chest panel, its gold outline drawn against the darker body. From there the composition opens up. A star-marked wordmark balances the left side, while the pale sleeves carry their own small narratives: a state outline stamped MKE, crossed bats marked EST. 1970, a Milwaukee script, and a circular M badge. Gold ribbing frames the collar, cuffs and hem in repeating bands, tying the lighter sleeves back to the navy torso. It is classic two-tone varsity logic, and it holds together because nothing fights for attention.

Layering & Wear

On a jacket, this composition works the way it was meant to. The colour-block split gives the shoulders definition, the chest badge reads instantly across a room, and the sleeve marks reveal themselves only up close. Worn open over a simple layer, the navy panel becomes the visual anchor of the whole outfit.
